Before purchasing from our online store, customers should understand that high-end chocolate is extremely sensitive to the environment. Most all of the chocolate products for sale on our website are susceptible to melting at temperatures above 80º F. We ship all of our chocolate with cold-packs and thermal sleeves to minimize the risk of melting, but there are some factors that you should consider before making your purchase.
When placing your order, especially as a gift for others, please note that all of our gourmet chocolates are preservative free with no more than a three week shelf life. It is very important to have in mind that good chocolate is fresh chocolate.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Kaebisch offers only one (1) and two (2)-day shipping within the continental U.S. via USPS and Fedex. Shipments are processed and shipped Monday – Wednesday.
If inside delivery is not available at the ship-to destination, your delivery will be left on your doorstep. Please consider this when shipping to locations where temperatures exceed 80º F.
If you have purchased a product that is susceptible to melting, and have chosen a shipping option besides next-day AM arrival at a destination where temperatures exceed 95ºF, a customer service representative may contact you to confirm that you are aware of the risk of chocolate melting, and to ask if you’d like to upgrade your shipping option.
Due to the risk of a package being left out unintentionally over the weekend, Kaebisch ships only Monday through Thursday. If you place your order on a Thursday (unless next day delivery is requested) through Sunday, it will be held until the following Monday for shipping. Please schedule your order accordingly.
It may take up to two business days to process your order.
Kaebisch is not responsible for incorrect addresses, shipping delays due to weather, nor shipping delays caused by the shipping carrier.
If you’d like to make a change to your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order via email (email@example.com) or by calling (407) 614-1746 (Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 7 PM EST) and asking to speak with an online customer service representative. Please have your order number ready before calling.
